Cars.com Names VW Passat TDI their "Eco-Friendly Car of the Year"

The 2.0-liter turbocharged Clean Diesel engine in the Volkswagen Passat TDI has powered the car to the Cars.com "Eco-Friendly Car of the Year" award by the editorial staff at cars.com.

The editors praise the Passat TDI as "the untimate road trip car" with "impressive highway mileage and long range". At 30 mpg city and 42 on the highway, the diesel-powered version of the highly rated Passat can take you a long ways on a 18.2 gallon tank of gas.

Also praise-worthy were the Passat's cabin and trunk space and the quality of it's interior.

The Passat comes standard leatherette upholstery, satellite/HD radio, and heated seats.  Visit our Showroom at VW of Quad Cities to see our entire line of new Volkswagen models.
